 The GLRT system is used by
major display manufacturers and integrators throughout
the world. This system solves the problem of measuring
the gray-to-gray response time of LCD displays.
The system can also determine the parameters needed
by over-drive compensation circuits to allow improved
display response time.
The standard configuration
of GLRT system combines our TRD-100A light
sensor, with our T-Drive (add
link) video drive system, and adds a data acquisition
module and our GLRT software application.
Our
GLRT software automates the process of gray-to-gray
response time measurement, saving
hundreds of hours
in the lab. The results are automatically
plotted in 3-D graphical and tabular form. The
GLRT
software application includes special filtering
algorithms
that allow the determination of response
times for very signal changes. Response times
for
changes as small as one gray-level have been
measured with
